We have a problem. 
I don’t care if you’re obsessed with “oppa.” I don’t care if you have pictures of him all over your wall, or if you dream about being his girlfriend. I don’t care if you worship the ground he walks on, or if you’re willing to spend thousands to see him in person.

However, I care when you start harassing him and or anyone he cares about. I care when you dig up personal information from the past and over-analyze it,  leaving hurtful comments everywhere. I care when you find out he has a girlfriend, and you say that you’ll murder her, or if you insult her and start false rumors about her. I care when you stalk him day and night, and chase him down in cars. I care when you send scary love letters written in blood, or if you camp outside of his dormitory/house, waiting to ambush him.

Seriously. Your “oppa” has his own life to live, and you’re not the only one who cares about him. He has every right to have a love life and he’s entitled to his own privacy. He deserves to be able live without being scared of being raped in his sleep, or being scared of his loved ones getting hurt. Even though he’s famous, he’s still a person. If you keep acting this way, he’s going to get discouraged. He’s going to hate his job, and it’ll be your fault. You need to respect him like an equal and treat him like he’s your equal. Give him the space he needs. He’s an entertainer. The point is that you like his talent, admire his hard work, and cherish him as a person. He brings you joy in his dancing and singing, and inspires you with his music. 

Think about it. The chances of you and your “oppa” are one in a million, one in a trillion. And I’m sure your “oppa” likes sane women. I’m not saying it’s not okay to fantasize and have a little fun with it, but there’s a point where it just becomes obsessive and insane. Look at yourself, with your entire life dedicated to him. One day, he’s going to find someone he loves. One day, he’ll get married and have kids. And where will you be? Will you still be standing by his window, watching him laugh with his wife, as they’re eating dinner together? People will only pity you, and call you crazy.

So get yourself together. There’s someone out there for you too. He’s not the only person who is amazing in the world. Let him be someone you respect and cherish, but don’t let him take over your life. Because when that happens, it ruins the things for both of you. Wake up.

This is a problem in kpop, especially the boy groups. I’ve been noticing that even though EXO is a new group, hate for their previous or current (if they actually have them) girlfriends are arising. I don’t want EXO to become another JYJ, who have sasaeng fans everywhere, bothering them on a daily basis. I’m sure other boy groups have these issues too.

I hope you realize what you’re doing to your life and his. Time’s not going to wait for you, and if you don’t get yourself together, you’ll realize that you’ve wasted yourself on a cause that was completely pointless. You have so much potential. Devote yourself to doing something that is really worthwhile. 

Ask yourself this question. “What am I going to do in the future?”
